Nikki Cottam
As cold and bitter
as snow may be,
It can warm the
hearts of you and me.
Though nearly
colorless it may appear,
Its sparkles and
brilliance, soft and clear,
Can lift our hearts from shadows to light,
Filling us with
hope after the darkest night.
For when the
shadows give way to sun,
The countless
flakes reflects the brightness of heaven,
As if heaven and
Earth joined as one,
Telling us the
bleakness is all done,
As a cleared slate
to pave a new road
As the shining
future has once more begun.
